Markforged X7

The Markforged X Series are large format industrial 3D printers designed for producing high-strength parts. With a large build volume of 330mm x 270mm x 200mm, the X Series offers exceptionable capabilities for printing jigs & fixtures, components, prototypes, robotics, custom-fit parts and even end-use, functional parts.

The X series consist of 3 variants:

X3

X5

X7 (formerly known as Mark X)

The Markforged X7 (formerly known as Mark X) is a large format 3D printer designed for producing high-strength parts with the option to include reinforcing fibres in Fibreglass, High Strength High Temperature Fibreglass, Kevlar and Carbon Fibre using the Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF) process. The Markforged X7 is available with a Markforged Customer Support Plan.

The X7 has a Z-layer resolution of 50 microns, and also features a unique in-process inspection system whereby it is possible to scan and verify the progress of your print using the cloud-based Eiger software and a laser displacement sensor affixed to the print head. This feature enables you to test dimensional accuracy (to within 1 micron) at any designated point in the print.

With the X7 you have the option of printing in Onyx, Onyx FR (Flame Retardant) or White Nylon as the base material.  Onyx is a Nylon embedded with micro carbon-fibres, producing a greater stiffness and higher temperature resistance and a matt-black finish. Please note the X7 comes with Onyx as standard.

Users can designate a specific layer at which the Markforged X7 can pause, ideal for embedding components or sensors during the print process. The X7 comes with advanced print software Eiger, compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems (Linux has limited features).
