Markforged Onyx One
The Markforged Onyx One is a specialist Onyx (Nylon) 3D printer, designed for engineering and manufacturing applications. The Onyx One is available with a Markforged Customer Support Plan.
Onyx is a Nylon embedded with micro carbon-fibres, producing parts with a greater stiffness and higher temperature resistance as well as a smart matte black finish, ideal for creating functional parts, components and prototypes. Onyx has a strength up to twice as strong as ABS and is temperature resistant up to 145°C.
The Onyx One has been professionally engineered using high quality components. It has good connectivity via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB stick and uses advanced cloud based print software Eiger. With the Markforged Onyx Series of printers, you can also pause the print to embed components or sensors into the part during the printing process.
Whilst the Onyx One only uses Onyx its sibling, the Onyx Pro, has the option to add continuous fibreglass for even stronger composite prints.
