Markforged Mark Two
The Mark Two by Markforged is designed for high-strength desktop 3D printing by using Onyx as its base material, with the option of adding reinforcing fibres in Kevlar, Carbon Fibre, Fibreglass or High Temperature Fibreglass, using Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF). This ability to produce functional parts, end components, prototypes as well as jigs, fixtures, tooling and moulds, makes the Mark Two ideally suited to engineering and manufacturing applications. The Mark Two is available with a Markforged Customer Support Plan.
Onyx is a Nylon embedded with micro carbon-fibres, producing parts with a greater stiffness and higher temperature resistance as well as a smart matte black finish, and has a strength up to twice as strong as ABS. Printing in Onyx, combined with High Temperature Fibreglass on the Mark Two allows you to produce high temperature resistant parts up to approx. 145°C. With the Mark Two, you can also print in White Nylon.
The Mark Two composite 3D printer forms part of the desktop range of 3D printers from Markforged:
Onyx One: print in Onyx
Onyx Pro: print in Onyx with the option of adding reinforcing Fibreglass
Mark Two: print in Onyx or White Nylon base materials, with the option of adding any of the reinforcing fibres
